LARGEST TYEE
Congratulations to Craig Boddington for catching our Largest Tyee of the 2019 season. Craig is no stranger to large Tyee, as he's caught several over the years at Black Gold. In fact, in 2018 Craig had the largest Tyee I've ever seen, after a one-hour fight, with the fish on its side but just out of netting reach. Craig managed to coax the monster within netting range, just as the hooks came free, with the fish in netting distance, the netter (Jim) was so upset with the UNHOOK! He waited too long to net and it very slowly swam away. Craig had two very big Tyee that year. |
